Available in 1.0.11 onwards. For mac users: if the auto update doesn't work you will have to dowload the app again (remember to export your tags).

For me, it’s because Apple uses it. But I also need to convert back to JPG for non Apple sharing. So it’s the format that I love to hate.

Do you use HEIC for the simple reason that iPhone does it or you have another use case for them?

Antoine Le Baux: Mostly that iPhone uses it. But I use OneFolder to organize photos that others share with me, which are most often HEIC, so I would have to convert photos every time they're shared with me.

Antoine Le Baux: If the way to convert was easy and relatively speedy, I wouldn't mind converting the file. Not sure if this is true for everyone, but for my case at least, I don't actually NEED the photo to be in HEIC format. I mainly use it because I don't have a good, convenient way to convert it.

Antoine Le Baux: If it were a lossless compression with all Exif data intact, then I would probably also convert it since jpeg is more widely supported. But as of now I have tens of thousands of photos in heic format which does offer better colors and better storage size usually
